Over the years, it has built a strong brand in India, known for quality, innovation and premium home appliances and consumer electronics.
Manufacturing & Localisation
- LG India currently has two major manufacturing plants: one in Greater Noida (Uttar Pradesh) and another in Ranjangaon near Pune in Maharashtra. These plants produce various items such as LED TVs, air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators, microwave ovens, monitors etc.
- The company is building its third plant in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, expected to begin operations by end-2026.
- It is also producing certain critical components locally. For example, LG India recently started manufacturing Dual-Inverter Air Conditioner compressors in its Greater Noida facility.
Product Portfolio & Market Position
- LG India’s portfolio is broad and includes:
